Concussions - Seeing the Invisible Injury - To communicate the mechanisms underlying sports-related concussions, graduate student Paul Kelly created a high-end 3D animation in Autodesk Maya for his master's research project in Biomedical Communications. Under the guidance of University of Toronto's Dr. Doug Richards, Dr. Anne Agur and Nick Woolridge, the animation focuses on the biomechanics and pathophysiology of the condition, with a narrative suited for a lay audience.
